Jellyfish was built by a team of folks with deep knowledge of Food and Beverage, Retail, and Supply Chains. We realized that the ordering process for Retailers was fundamentally broken. Sure it worked if you only had a couple of Suppliers, but the standard restaurant/bar has around 30 Suppliers and some Retailers have considerably more than that. We used to spend 8 - 16 man-hours a week just placing orders with all our Reps. We emailed, texted, called, or waited for a visit from our Reps. We hoped they got our orders and we waited for the next delivery to find out. Sometimes we had to use a Supplier’s own online portal to order from. That didn’t really help. Generally, we stayed late, wasted salaries, and pulled our hair out. Jellyfish is our solution and it works.
