In Supplier Accounts, Suppliers have the option to make an item as "Restricted". A restricted item is something that is not available to the public. This item will not populate when a retail account searches for it, not even if they type in the name exactly as it is listed in the Supplier Account.
The only way the item will be visible to the retailer account is to add the item to the customers' "Order Guide".
How to Add Items to Order Guides
Owners, Administrators, and Sales Managers have the ability to restrict, and un-restrict items.
Navigate to the "Item Catalog" the item is held in.
Once in the Item Catalog, you will see under "Item Type" if an item is restricted or not. Click on the edit icon under "Actions".
On the "Edit Item" page you can now check, or un-check the "Restricted Item" box. Once finished, click "Submit".
If you are changing an existing item from "Non-Restricted" to "Restricted", be aware, if a retail account adds this item to an order BEFORE the item was made restricted, Jellyfish will still let the customer finalize the order with the newly restricted item.
