After integrating your Supplier Account with your Xero account, you will need to map your items in order for Xero to recognize any orders that go through Jellyfish.
If you have not integrated your account with a Xero account yet, please click this link and follow the steps to help you get set up.
After logging in, you want to click on the "Integrations" button:
If you are currently integrated with Xero, you should see the window below. After appearing, you will want to click on "Item Mapping":
After clicking on "Item Mapping", you will be taken to the next screen down below:
There are two options provided. The first way is adding the item to Xero. This option should be followed if the item is NOT in Xero at all.
The other way is item mapping. This option should be followed if the item is already in Xero but has not been connected to the matching item in Jellyfish.
Add Item to Xero: Adding an item to Xero, you can click "Add" under the "Add Item to Xero" column. This will add the NEW item to Xero. Xero will use the "Item ID" listed in Jellyfish as the "Item Code" in Xero.
Item Mapping: If the item is already in Xero but not yet connected to the item in Jellyfish, you will need to map the item in Jellyfish. To do this, type either the item name or item code into the "Search Xero Name" field, a drop-down menu will appear with the item as shown in Xero. This is demonstrated below. Click on the correct option.
Once you selected the item through the "Search Xero Name" it will display thereafter. After that is complete, click on "Sync Data" for the item to properly connect to the item in Xero.
After adding the item into Xero, you can go and log into your Xero account, and check if the item has been placed into the system. To see if your products in Xero, you will want to click on Business > Products & Service:
This will then take you to the Products and Services page. There will be a table that will show you all the items that are integrated with Xero like the picture below:
As you can see, the item that was added into Xero through Jellyfish, is now currently in the system of Xero now.
